12 and 14t
« on: July 08, 2008, 03:14:54 PM »
what do you guys think about these

i have a k&n, hmf slip on and jets

i ride mostly 3rd gear tight trials, but somtimes get up to 6th for a minute or so but its mostly technical crap

is the 14t going to hinder my riding style too much? is the 12t going to make it easier to wheelie? does the 12t kill top end that much?

i hate my 12 tooth. if i trade the 350 in you can have it.

12 tooth: easier to wheelie - lots harder to keep them up. kills top end. gears wind out faster

I liked my 12 tooth. I never topped my quad out, and I liked to be able to pull up wheelies easier. = Totally worth it.

My suggestion is pick up a 12 tooth and 14 tooth, this why you have variety.

I also installed a 14 tooth and it was harder to start a wheelie from a slow speed, but easier to stay in them.

I loved the 12 tooth because I like going like 2mph and then just crank the gas and pull up.

if you never get into 5th a 12 tooth would be fine since you dont ride top end.

and livingmylife93, you gotta shift you pussy

oh damn well if you guys are that slow then yea a 12 is fine. the reason i had to keep my 13 is because i rode in 5th almost always. damn now that i think of it i shoulda got a 14. too late now. maybe ill tell my brother to put one on it.

 That's what I hated too. I would spin tires through first gear and part of 2nd and it would finally take off.
