totaled yamaha YZF possibly for sale...any interest?

a friend of mine (who owns a towing service) towed in a totaled YZF. he said he might end up with it, i just thought i would throw it out there to see if anyone would be interested. would make a good fixer-upper or a great engine swap for a quad or something else. let me know if anyone has any interest.

it's a street bike. i'm thinking it's either a R1 or R6. it looks fairly new. it does have a pipe on it, so i would like to think there's programmer and intake work done. i'm not sure of all the nitty gritty on it though.

 it's not his yet, he has to wait for all the insurance bullcrap to clear and everything else involved first.

I have built and tore down quite a few rockets

sold all the parts on ebay.. made a couple bucks

if it is EFI it will be a 2003 or newer
the R1 has dual exhaust under the seat and the R6 has the exhaust on the right side (up high on the 2003-2005) (down low on the 2006 ^)the 2006^ R6s is similar to the pre 2006 R6

it most be a R6 because it's got the single exhaust. i don't know about EFI though.

either way he said the guy called the other day about coming to get it. but hasn't got it yet.
