yeah I sat through the finale, and they spent a total of 1:30 on the quads.  :mad:

A friend of ours Chris Birch, rode it for the first time.
Got taken out in a massive crash early on, & lost heaps of time.
Fixed his bike & resumed, then had a big crash on the penultimate stage.
Still finished, battered & bruised, broken nose etc in 28th place

One hell of a race for sure!

Hey I saw Chris Birch race in my country 2-3 years ago, he was one of the top 3 enduro racers in the world

I like the nerf mounted tank on the chicks quad.  Never thought of that.  Seems like a good way to carry extra fuel and maintain a low cg.

He still is.
Regular winner in such races as The Romaniacs etc.
If he hadn't been taken out early on by one of the other bikes, he would have been a contender for much higher honours.
However to even finish the race after what he went through is testament to his strength & character!
