actually smaller. Stock is 215/40/18 I think. These are 205/45/17. They could be a fraction taller. It sits about as high as my old 3 did on eibach springs. I like the look now I just want wider tires. Traction is already becoming an issue lol

That's cuz your on a snowy road noob!

Get a set of blizzaks for winter, you won't worry about traction.

wider tires = worse traction in winter

they were option 2 for winter tires. I'm running contintnetal extreme winter contact. The blizzaks wear really fast from what I've heard.

I've heard both ways about winter tires. Some people say narrow tires cut througj snow better others say that new tire technology you can run wider tires. Either way these were cheaper lol

Blizzaks are solid if you keep them off the road when it's 50°+ outside.
I'm on my 2nd year w/ mine on. a lady I work with has had hers for 8 years.

meh....the cost of blizzaks outweigh the return. They are good, but only if it snows ALOT, and it doesn't here :(

or if you have a sports car with hard and wide tires. I drove a brand new RX7 in the snow. completely useless

ZOMBIE THREAD!  what the hell is up guys?!

bored, so i thought id update this a bit. had a mazda meet at Orange County Choppers [(as in the tv show) their staff photographer owns a mazdapspeed3 thats super awesome and hosts the meet annually] back in april. i just so happened to land a full sponsorship out of the blue. one vendor was scouting for a sponsor, and for whatever reason, they said i stood out.

www.jamesbaroneracing.com

hes releasing a bunch of shit soon, like a massive 1 piece 3.5 inch intake, a tubular exhaust manifold, possible fmic piping kit, crazy stuff. all gets sent right to me for free

anyway, right now i only have a rear motor mount, and a rear sway bar, but in a week or so i should be getting more stuff. heres a few updated pics

tint  8) 35% (pa legal)

and the new sponsor decal (until we figure out something cooler lol)

and here is a pic of the guys ms3 from OCC

this is the old wrap

new vinyl wrap

He got to borrow this for his wedding last weekend!
