Looking for GoPro HD tips/tricks
« on: May 09, 2011, 03:26:43 PM »
My wife bought me a GoPro Helmet Hero HD. It's freakin' sweet. It only came with a couple of mounts and I don't want to goober up my helmet making first-timer mistakes.
Any pro-tips (where to mount, what not to do, etc.) would be great.
P.S.: I already know not to mount it on the inside of the helmet (Thanks, Spartan727)

I would use some blue tape and experiment with different positions to put the mount. I got lucky with mine and just found a decent angle right off. It will probably take a ride or two to fine tune your angle where you want it. If you want I can link you to some old helmet cam vids I have for an indication. every helmet is curved slightly different due to size so it's gonna take some trial and error.

And yes, not putting it inside of the helmet is a good ideas as well
