The brake light won't come on when I use the rear or front levers. Any suggestions? :help:

Check the bulb, alot of the times they break from stuff getting thrown up at them.

There is also and adjustment above the right healguard, press down on the break to see where it is cause i cant explain it to you. Adjust that to your liking, turn it one way it comes on earlier, turn it the other it comes on later.

It tells you exactly how to do it in the owners manual if you still have it

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well I spent 2 hours jacking with all the wiring and the brake pedal switch. The light is on, but won't brighten up when the brake lever is pushed. The only area I couldn't get to was the big ass bundle under the seat. Voltage and continuity were good from the bulb to the bundle and from the switch to the bundle. WTF happens in the big ass bundle of wires I don't know, so unless there are any other suggestions i'm done screwing with it. The tail light works, who needs a brake light anyway

Did you bypass the brake light switch, maybe that's the culprit

  Well it was really more of an idea for trouble shooting.  I'm no mechanic so I can't say if it's even possible.  Please let me know if I'm out of line

So that would prove the brake switch is faulty right?

Well...... i'm all ears for any ideas. The parking lamp works, but no brake light. I thought about the bypass thing, but the brake light switch only has two wires and the tail end has three. Is one a ground? :help: :help: :help:

Yea I would guess.....   ???
Maybe the brake switch is grounded when its mounted & needs no ground wire.
What quad is this?

It's a 2005 Raptor 350. I tried looking at the electrical diagram, but that didn't seem to help much. I might as well have been looking at my 2 year olds scribbling that is supposed to be his name . I'm coming to the conclusion that i'm not an electrician.

your brake light switch is going out.  it has nothing to do with your bulbs.  its a 5 part, above the brake pedal.  takes about 10 minutes to replace.
