What I've always done w/ my +2 on. Is just buy a 120 link chain. You have to cut some off, but takes the guess work out.

I don't remember 100 on the stock brake line, when I got my +2 I just decided to buy the extended brake line.

The only tool I can think of that would help make this process easier is a snap ring tool On the carrier there is a big snap ring. you CAN get it out w/ other tools, but to make it quick and painless this is by far the easiest way.

You can get one of those cheap chain presses.  Not much use on a standard chain but does help squeeze those o and x rings.

On my +3 I had my rear shock rebuilt with a heavier spring, but I'm 260lbs. Food for thought.

Are you replacing sprockets as well?

A Honda sprocket hub on your Rappy axle offers some different gearing options. I think they go down to a 34 tooth.

You can get an aftermarket carrier that uses tapered roller bearings or send yours in & have it machined to accept tapered roller bearings.
You should never have to replace bearings again just service them regularily.

Your going to need a longer break line with your +2. I tried to use my stock and its a no go. A pair of needle nosed pliers worked good to remove my carrier snap ring. Your going to need a 46mm(i think) wrench or a big ass crescent wrench and a dead blow hammer to remove your axle nut. And you need a 24mm socket and an impact to remove the hub nut. I couldn't budge the damn thing without the impact. The whole process is kind of a pain in the ass.
