« on: July 17, 2010, 03:20:37 PM »
I was wondering how to tighten the rear brake so i barley have to press the peddle to use the brake..because i have to really step on the brake for it to stop...and i want the break so i can control my wheelies better.

Did you bleed the brakes? Pump and hold the lever down, and crack the bleeder on the caliper...do it til the air is out of the system, and also make sure you keep the reservoir topped off while you're doing this.

Sounds like 1 of two things need to happen.

one. Like pat said. re-bleed the brakes.

I would also check the condition of the pads.

Ha, I was wondering if there was a stupid tool I was going to have to buy.  Thankfully Yamaha usually keeps it pretty simple.
