tires sliping off the rims

My buddy just go new ITP rims and holeshot tires. Went for a ride and both tires slipped off the rims. he went back aired up the tires and they hold air fine he said he had 5psi in the tires. anybody know why or how to fix this problem. Thanks

Way weird... and they are the correct size tire for the rim?

only thing I can think of is if when he put them on the first time if they never fully seated onto the rim..

I'd put more air int he tires and you can usually hear when the bead pops into its seat.

Is the quad modded? If you're putting a lot of HP to the wheels then it can spin on the rim...

yes it is modded & he was on the pavment, he said they were the right size. I'll tell him to make sure they were seated properly ect... thanks guys

Add more air to the tires...If the pressure is too low and you have a lot of traction, you can spin it on the rim.

This is exactly what happened, they weren't seated all the way  the first time.

Thanks for the imput guys. my buddy said when he aired up the tires they didn't pop so he thinks they were not seated properly.
