Ok,ive borrowed a ecu,fan relay and fan resistor from my buddys bike and now it wont start.

Im getting trouble code 4 flashes then 2 fast flashes and then 1 which stays on for a few seconds.Anyone know what it is.

Please help im pissed and my buddy dont even know yet  help   Sad

42 is the speed sensor Shrimp, check your dynatek connections, or pull it out and see if the quad fires without the dyna in the loop.

There is no dyna on my buddys quad.There's no spark,coil is fine  Huh?

Ok ive double checked and its coming up code 42,which by the manual says its speed sensor,netural switch.But the manaul also says it will start,but it doesnt .The manual switch is fine and working.It has no spark  confused

There is a kill switch,but that seems fine as ive already checked that.Will have another go at the quad tonight  thumbs up

I would double check that tether. unhook it from the ignition completely.

when I had my dynatek on, before I took the dyna off. I had the same issue 42. would turn over. No spark. pulled the kill switch off. Started right no. Not the total same scenario you're in but something to look into at least.

Thanks for all the advice and ideas  thumbs up ,ive fixed it.Took the ECU plug apart and bingo 2 pins missing,one the fat orange wire and the other fat black wire.They where oppisite each other on the end.Pushed them back in and it started up first time  nana  Smiley  thumbs up

   That is a common problem with the Rappy,  The main power wire for the ECU is short in the harness and pulls the pins back in the plug.  You can remove that wire from the harness to free up some slack and the problem will not re-occur.
