A Lot of people run Chen Ching Tires and use gold cutter screws. Check out a user named sully on here. He has a thread in the 700 section (somewhere) about his ice racing bike.

I've always just studded up old tires I've had laying around, right now I'm using stock LTR tires on the rear(they don't have enough lugs to hold enough studs) and Holeshots on the front. Cheng shins are suppose to be the best rears, they have a ton of knobs and are a real hard which holds the studs in better. Depending on tire size and tread pattern you will need at least 1000 to 1500 screws, maybe more. Screw length is something you'll hear a lot of different answers on. Some say they should and some say they shouldn't go all the way through the tire, I personally use shorter ones. Don't waste your time with tire slime like some say, if your studs do go all the way through the tire and one pull out it will do nothing but cover your quad in slime. Magicracing.com is the best and cheapest place to get studs and they carry cheng shins also.

Get you quad as low as you can and right around 50" wide. Swaybars make a huge difference if you want to spend the money. If you got different sprockets bring em, you'll want to get it geared so you can run one gear around the track.

I cant remember what time the races start but I usually get there by 6 to get a decent parking spot, change tires, etc.

You should stud them up for yourself and come out.

WOW!   I feel important that people actually remember me.  :)
