I am starting to do some mods and was wondering if this would work well with all stock parts. or is it worth me buying it with out any mods done yet

DO big three first I would say. Dynatek will make it more responsive, and cuts out the rev limiter.

No, buy other things first.  Dyna is what you get when you have everything else or have some specific need for it (3 plug head, nitrous, analog tach, etc).

exhaust, intake to make it breathe better, then third is rejetting for good fuel mixture. Can make anywhere from 7-15 hp.

My 660 was hmf exhaust, K&N intake kit, then two sizes up on both jets. Was pretty powerful for the small amount of dough I put into it.

i do alot of riding in the water and mud and all the intake kits i seen are without the air box any links to ones that keep the box and lid

Taking the lid off is only an option. Not necessary, but makes the most low to midrange power that way. Draws air in faster.

I drilled holes in my lid, and bought an outerwear ($15.00) to keep water and sand out. Unless you are burying it in mud, no biggie. Never had an issue.
