Arkansas River at Sunset. Taken from 1000-1200 feet. Left side Arkansas, Right side, Oklahoma. World's tallest hill (officially Cavanal Mountain according to the US Geological Survey...1999 feet tall) on the horizon to the right, near Poteau OK.

Bridge across the river is the Garrison Bridge. Past the bridge and to the left near the bend in the river is the mouth of the Poteau River. This is were Fort Smith, AR was founded in 1817. Waiting for clearance to enter the pattern on the active, about 4 miles out. (personal pic)
