1966 Ford Bronco project finally getting things done on it!
« on: March 07, 2009, 07:04:26 PM »
I recently pulled my bronco out and started redoing things piece by piece.  Here is a short list of mods so far to it.

Built 302 w/headers, edelbrock performer intake and carb.

Front disc brake conversion

9" rear-end

Old school truck 4spd and transfer case.

Soft top and hard top, just put new GT steering wheel in and put new "guts" in the doors. (so in can open them from the inside)

More to come soon!

Those are great vehicles. Thats what Parnelli Jones raced in the Baja for years. Very hard to find on the West Coast.

Got this out of Salem, Oregon of all places and luckily it wasn't rusted out or anything.  The hood and the bottom of the grill shell are rusted but the rest is rust free.

Cool.  Love the old Bronco.  My Dad has a '74 that needs everything.  Someday I hope to take a bunch of my leftover parts from my F150 and do the Bronco up right.

Google, 40 years to glory-happy birthday baja 1000. It has a good picture of the original Bill Stroppe Parneli Jones Bronco that raced in the first 1000.

The Big Oly Bronco, that thing is a Baja icon.
