Stolen Quad
« on: January 18, 2009, 08:31:14 PM »
I had my quad stolen out of the back of my pickup Friday night. I was going to take it in and get the valves adjusted Saturday morning and when I woke up it was gone. I had a few beers in me and I was really not thinking about moving my truck under the carport since nothing ever has gotten stolen out of my yard or the neighbors yards. Bad thing about it I never leave it out like that. Damn meth heads probably got it. I was supposed to go riding this morning also. This sucks

I reported it Saturday morning and the cops told me that they only recover 1 out of 10 stolen quads. I have insurance on it and hopefully they don't drop me for this.

Hope all his teeth fall out. I'm just lucky I have insurance the only bad thing is getting all the receipts together from all the after market parts. Word to the wise keep all your receipts for all your after market parts.

Polarass..I am sorry I missed your thread...now I get your joke in the "say something about the person above you" thread. :( I wasn't being an ass, I thought you were kidding. Now I wish you were.

Good luck Sorry to hear about your terrible news.

It might all work out for the better you never know. I've been looking at quads non stop for the last couple of days and I hope to find a good deal somewhere. Wish the F(*&er would have stolen it in December I could have gotten a better deal on a new machine then. Never know a Raptor might be in the mix it would cut down on maintenance cost since the wife already has one.
