I have two old 350 warriors dating back to the 80,s got one for my wife for Xmas years ago the other is a extra quad for kids and other folks to use. They are rock solid. I do not think the have changed the engines much if any at all. They have done lots of cosmetic and some suspension changes. They are great quad.

I know. The Raptor 350 according to the local Yamaha dealer is just a hibrid Warrior. Same basic engine just the changes I mentioned. The look way better now that they have updated the plastics.

I almost got my girlfriend a Rap 350.  The dealer made me such a good deal on a second 700 that I couldn't pass it up.  She was very inexperienced and I was concerned at first because of the clutch and power, even stock.  She picked up the clutch work fairly quickly, as the 700 has so much torque, she didn't even need to use the throttle to get it rolling.  We rode the Oregon dunes and she did awesome.  Had no problem with easy climbing.  She is about 5' 4" and 150 lbs. with all gear on.  Softened the suspension up and she has been going ever since.  IMO, I would look at a 700.  They can be found very inexpensive and have more potential for later on.  Just depends what you want.  We have an 07 Honda 250EX for her 10 yr old son.  She rides it for fun and I asked if she would like to downsize.  I just about go shot!!!  Not a chance.  Have fun with whatever choice you make.

the raptor 350 is a replasticed warrior Hefe.

Depending on her size, a rappy 250 is pretty awesome too, and they can be had new for 2800 if you look hard enough.
