All you PCIII guru's check in here
« on: May 20, 2008, 03:03:20 PM »
Alright i have gotten a few maps that members have sent me. I dont have the software or knowlege to look at these maps and compare them to see which one or 2 would be best for my set up. I wouldnt even know where to begin if i had the software on my comp.
Duals
pro design intake
11:1
HC stg 2

Is there anyone that has more knowlege than me on this subject that would be willing to take a look at the maps and help me out on this.
If so please pm me your email address and ill send them. I have about 8 or 10 maps and im just wondering how much different they could all be. Maybe one day i will be able to afford a dyno run and get an exact dialed in map.  thanks nick

i have no idea. We just was racing in 300ft so by the time that i notice i was getting beat i was like wtf. Never payed attention to where it fell off at. Traction may have been  an issue seeing that we were in a powder type dirt with hard dirt under it but the other guy has stock tires and was beating me about 1/2 the time.

ok a few questions then....

Does it wheelie easily?

Does it pull hard short shifting through third?

Did your compition run you down, or beat you from the start?

Does your exhuast smell heavily of gas?

What did your last plug chop look like?

hmm,

I wonder if you were to go ride hold it in a high RPM pull clutch in and kill it, get off and check the plug, if you could see what it's doing @ certain ranges.. Let me know if you see anything weird aaron.

Got the +2 SLC swinger so wheelies are minimal

I start in 2nd and by the time i shift into 3rd he would already be about 1/2 length out.

Id say that we would be kinda even on the start and he would just pull a little.

Plug was real black before i put the "new map" from evlls1 on there but i was busting ppls ass with it.
Now with the new map it isnt black but it may be a tad on the white(ish) side but still kinda tan. I really dont know. Its been out for a week or 2 but i tried to take pics of it and nothing. It wont take a decent pic. Here is a pic of it before the new map.

This was when i had a blown head gasket and i was still spanking ppl.
