Post by: Gunz on April 07, 2010, 05:07:43 PM
700 Stems
OMI greasable steering stem mounts
DRD reverse levers
ODI grips
Dynatek ignitions prog and nonprog
Camera
ASV's

Pick ONE you've got 2 days to figure out what you want a deal on.

Dynatek ignitions prog and nonprog
ASV's

That's from Bmust. (got his reply via e-mail)

the omi allows for a greasable stem mount. the stock one you have to take apart and manually pack w/ grease. Just an easier way to keep your bars in good shape and not have squeaky steering :)

The camera options are VholdR Contour 720p, Contour 1080p, Gopro 1080p, Gopro wide

I personally wouldn't own a GoPro if my life depended on it, so sorry I won't set up a group buy for those.

Camera 5
Ignition 4
Dr D 3
OMI 2
ASV's 1
Grips 1

I vote OMI greasable mount!!! My bars squeak like hell

A camera and then ASV next on the list.

If there is enough interest on each one to do whatever the minimum thats required, maybe we can have 2-3 group buys? Depending on the deal I would probably be down on all 3 that I listed (and maybe some others...im a sucker for sale priced mods!)

Man a day late like usual, I need like 28 hours in a day, I'd be up for grips or the ASV levers cause I need both, LOL, and they are a middle of the road item considering price and use.  Not everyone wants or needs a new steering stem or swing arm or can afford to drop several hundred dollars in one shot.  The reverse levers are nice but I already have but that would be my third vote, I guess I could always buy my sister one, hell I'm not even sure why I have one I can't use revers anyway, how about a reverse cutout box!

How about oversized radiators like the Fluidyne?
Title: Re: Group Buy option...you choose
Post by: Krandall on August 05, 2010, 09:51:18 AM
Not sure how much response we'd get back on these. due to price.

I'm pretty sure we could get another one lined up for something like OMI Stem Clamps, maybe Stabilizers,  or some bling parts. ???

Hookers and Blow ???

Im down for a OMI Stem Clamp or Blingstar Throttle and brake housing covers in black  8)

How about oversized radiators like the Fluidyne?

On RF they got a Group Buy for Oversized China Radiators for $125-140 shipped im pretty sure.  Thats a pretty good price for the warrenty they claim to have.

I've seen that deal, not interested in that at all. They look stupid to me, it'll be Fluidyne or just stock with upgraded line coolers and engine ice.
Title: Re: Group Buy option...you choose
Post by: Peelz on August 06, 2010, 11:56:23 AM
engine ice makes a noticeable difference. Next time my coolant needs changed, I am switching.

Yes, could use both. My ODI's have been great but they're starting to wear.

Anybody interested in a swingarm group buy?  Not sure how many people would commit because of the price, or how willing somebody like SLC would be to deal...but I could use a +6 before next spring.

I'd like to but I don't have the cash for that right now, maybe we could do a group buy of swingarms around March or April when Tax returns hit, for those of us that will get them.

I'd be down for ASVs...ODI grips I doubt you'd get a group buy on, has been discussed before and I believe TQS said it would require a very large order (like 100 or 1,000) to get any price break on that...15 bucks is not that bad for those grips as it is.

I'm almost postive that TQS did a group buy on ASV or it was the Holiday packs.  But i know when i got my last set it was a different price than normal or I never would have bought them.

how about some chain?  Would like to see some regina chain, and maybe even a sprocket/chain combo kit.  Its a regular wear item and probably a good off season practice to change out  8)

I paid 15 for mine direct from TQS, pretty sure that is what the going rate is still. It's like 3 bucks more for a custom engraving.
Title: Re: Group Buy option...you choose
Post by: Sand84 on October 17, 2010, 08:22:54 PM
Yeah i like some other people paid for engraving but guess what?  NO ENGRAVING    I'd be down for some ASV's depending on price and time of GB.

If you didn't get engraving... why wouldn't you send them back? I got my ODI clamps engraved. Sa-weeeet!

Anyone else intrested in a Dynojet ignition module Group buy?  I'm about sick of these Dynateks going to shit.

If they are proven to be as good or better than dynateks, sure...

Addendum...these are just for the PC3s right? I think the PC5 uses its own different controller

EMAIL response I recieved from Fuelmoto regarding the Dynojet Igntion Module

"Hello, the Ignition module for PC III would run $299.00, if you could put together 10 or more we could do $289.00. There would be $12.95 shipping each."

There is not a compatiable PCV module at the moment.

Not a killer deal there, but it is what it is.

So how do we go about setting up a group buy?  Is it something somebody here normally takes care of, or should we start emailing vendors to see if they are willing to deal with a group?
