Title: Group buy on Chest Protectors ?? Fox airframes maybe?
Post by: Gunz on October 29, 2009, 11:20:12 AM
I need a chest protector and Im sure about 90% of you guys need one too. Anybody interested in a GB on some? I want a Fox Airframe, bit I'd be happy rocking any protection. Does anyone have a hook up on something like this?

I really like mine, but there are some nicer similar setups I've seen lately. ???

Yours is nice, but it gets suuuuper hot down here and I get into this little fat kid claustrophobic heat stroke dance when it's hot already and I think that darkside Jedi suit would put me over the edge.

The batsuit looks terrific for those who are out of shape.
I'm in shape - round - making the airframe more my type.

nope, not at all. it's like under armour.  It's like your own AC unit when riding.  I stay cooler with it on!!!!!!!!

You think it's tough being 250? Try being 6'4" and 270 pounds. I have to get 3X jerseys just so the sleeves are long enough. And riding pants ... forgetaboutit.

I am 100% on the pressure suit type armour
Light, cool to wear & for the ladies & those with manboobs you can get them shaped to suit.
I have a 661 pressure suit, & an alpine stars suit (was a bit too small, but my nephew wears it now)
Full back protector, shoulder, chest, & forearm protection, & a kidney belt.

Far better than any over shirt type chest protector!

the pressure suits really start to shine when you get thrown, they keep your muscles in place kinda like a tension bandage.

Looks just like on the ebay pic, I sold it so dont have pics! (Cost me $50 and sold it for $90 so could not pass it up). The quality looks amazing, looks like the real thing and comes with tags, took about 20 days to get to Miami. The plastic pads are harder than my EVS ones. Definitely go ahead and get it!!! It fits maybe a little small, I am 6ft 3in and 220lb and the Large size is just a tad small.
